Why is it important for THSCA to partner with other sport associations?
The THSCA believes that partnering with other sport associations helps amplify our members’ voices and increase member benefits for all our those involved. Coaches have more opportunities for networking on a state and national level and additional access to resources to aide in professional growth and development. When associations work together, and not in competition, we are able to bring a united front when petitioning at our state legislature and with our work concerning the UIL Legislative Council.
In partnership with our state associaitons we are launching and intitive to advocate for and protect education based athletics. Read the full statement and get ideas for how to promote your program on our “Educate. Excel. Play.” page.
