To participate in "Our Day to Shine" schools simply designate one of the scrimmages or spring games as "Our Day to Shine" with gate receipts (less expenses) sent to the THSCEF Benevolence Fund. Participating in "Our Day to Shine" gives our athletes, coaches and schools a great opportunity for community service as well as an opportunity to give to a worthy cause. The THSCEF Benevolence Fund will allow us as an association to help beyond our present permanent injury and memorial benefits policies help student athletes with hardship cases

OFFICIALS APPRECIATION TOOLKIT

THSCA is asking all sports teams across the state to take part in the THSCA/ TASO/ UIL Officials Appreciation game during a home game. We would like all sports to utilize their first home district game to honor your officials. Below you will find a toolkit that includes suggested actions, a PA announcement, an event poster, and a video board graphic to help you recognize our hard-working officials and get more information.

TEACHER APPRECIATION TOOLKIT

Recognizing teachers through athletics demonstrates to athletes, parents, and the community that teachers play a vital role in the success of our athletic programs.
